It's OK to want stuff...

It's not unholy to desire things, you're worthy of having your dreams manifest and there's nothing wrong with wanting stuff. The belief that it's selfish or somehow unspiritual to want things runs deep and it's time to let it go.

Some spiritual teachings urge you to eliminate the phrase "I want..." from your vocabulary because it insinuates lack. Stating what you want affirms to the universe that you are "without", trapping you in a cycle of disappointment and limitation. I call bullshit on this idea.

Words are symbols that express our intentions. If you spend your time worrying about what words you're using then you're creating more stress in your life. Let's release any spiritual practice that makes us feel guilty - it's worthless and we've suffered enough.

Listen, we get it. The job, cash, and perfect body isn't going to save us. We don't need to be saved, we're children of God and there's nothing missing. But, this doesn't mean we can't have fun while inhabiting these body suits. Awakening to my oneness with perfect Love while drinking from a coconut on a beach sounds like a lot of fun to me. And I'm down to have a good time while I'm here.

Get clear on how you'd like to feel and take it from there. Once you're willing to feel happy, successful, peaceful, prosperous, and free - you've begun the process of joyful manifestation.

Once aligned with joy, inspired ideas flow like a geyser. Move with your inspired ideas because they'll lead you to places where your purpose reveals itself. Share your light with the world by following the thread of desire, unattached to the outcome and open to miracles along the way. Our desires ignite the flame and our light grows brighter with each step forward.

We master desire when we stop judging it. Accepting your divinity helps inspired ideas to flow. It's like saying, "Hey Universe, I'm ready to rock - what amazing things do you have for me today?" You're worthy by nature, there's nothing to prove or earn.

Practice saying, "I am worthy of all the fun and excitement life has to offer me - I'm in the business of saying YES to all good things and business is good!" Say it until you believe it.

Playfulness is a key ingredient to the manifestation process. As soon as guilt or stress arise, take a breath and ask yourself, "What am I believing that isn't true?" If you're willing to question the thought that's stressing you out, then you'll get freedom from it. It really is that simple.

You've suffered enough beautiful being. What do you really want? Are you willing to accept what's yours to IN-JOY?
